Twitter twaddle

So am I the only one who thinks Twitter is a bunch of twaddle? Weigh in. 

This latest jump-on-the-bandwagon-without-really-understanding vehicle is, as the kids say, TMI! TMI! Do you think anyone really cares that you're contemplating your nose hair right now or if you're having a cup of coffee? 

Get over yourselves.

  1. You might want to get over yourself because this post clearly illustrates that you don't get it. You must have made this judgment by reading a whitepaper from some PR company who still makes its living by spamming reporters with irrelevant pitches. Or from an ad agency that builds ads for some junk mail coupon book. If all you get out of twitter is what your friend had for breakfast, its YOUR fault. Maybe you should actually try and engage the space and learn from others in your profession who actually know how to use the technology, before you pass judgment from your little blog.   2. Oh, dear. Did I offend someone?
    Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.
    For people who think that it's important to continually sniff the rear end of every other person on the planet who is in the same business, or who is interested in making sure they can real real time opinions on ads are on the superbowl, or who, frankly, feel that their whole self-worth is based on how electronically connected they are, more power to them.
    There is some good content there, yes. But it's diluted completely by all the inanity.
